APS is a device that provides non-visual information to visually  impaired pedestrians at intersections with traffic lights,  informing them about walk and clearance intervals.One of the  main benefits of APS is that it helps improve safety by providing  audible and tactile information to indicate when it is safe for  visually impaired pedestrians to cross the street.By providing  clear and consistent information on when it is safe to cross, APS  helps visually impaired individuals navigate streets more easily  and independently
